Size Guide

Our Shu Da size guide is outlined here: Size guide

We recommend if you are in between sizes or have wider than average feet to size up!

I've received my Shu Da's and they feel a little snug, is this normal?

Don’t worry, they are meant to! It is common for your Shu Da’s to feel a little snug when you first start wearing them. We use plush faux fur to line your slippers, which when brand-new, will make the fit feel slightly tighter than usual. You will need to allow time for the slipper and lining to mould to the shape of your foot, and the faux fur lining will compress a little after some wear for a looser fit.

How can I wash my Shu Da slippers and trainers?

We always recommend using the gentlest cleaning methods you can to clean your Shu Das, which is why we do not advise machine washing. We recommend dusting off dry soil and dirt with a soft brush and using a damp cloth and gentle soap to remove any dirt or grit.

If for any reason your Shu Da slippers need to be put in the washing machine we recommend putting them on a delicate wash setting.

How durable are Shu Da slippers?

Very durable! Shu Da slippers are designed in the UK by our team of footwear experts using high-quality materials to ensure they withstand the everyday wear required of slippers.

All Shu Da slippers feature a durable, hardwearing outsole which makes them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Are replaceable insoles available?

Yes! We want you to get the most out of your Shu Da's as possible, so why not only replace the insoles rather than the whole slipper. You can buy replacement insoles that are compatible with all our slippers in men and ladies sizes.

Where are Shu Da slippers made?

Shu Da's main slipper production is done in China. We often get asked, 'if we are a sustainable footwear brand then why do we manufacture in China?'

China are in fact leading the way in terms of sustainable technologies, from recycled materials to developing advanced bio-based materials like sugarcane and algae bloom that can be used to make footwear. This gives us a broad range of eco-friendly materials to use in our slippers which simply aren't available in Europe or closer to home at the moment. That being said, as a brand we are conscious of trying to reduce our carbon footprint, so in April 2023 we are launching our first 'Made in Spain' footwear collection, with the goal to manufacture more collections in Spain in the future as technologies develop.
